ONLINE Art or Math or English Teacher for Tutoring Grade1 to Grade 6 Students

, f0 V5 w! Q- r! aCurrently, we are looking for highly qualified Art, Math, or English tutors who are creative and able to produce enjoyable and positive learning experiences

9 F9 {2 \+ V0 }0 @  qResponsibilities:
1.Grades 1 to 6 tutors are responsible for a group of 8 to 10 children virtually.
# g8 A/ I* a0 v3 d  f+ Q2.Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring/mentoring to be provided
  L- f  b' d) |( I6 I3.Accurately provide reporting regarding student progress as required
) }/ j8 H) q* T$ y, ^4.Familiar and Follow the updated Ontario Ministry of Education criteria.
: T( M7 J8 [0 _3 S& h' U5.Develop and prepare teaching/tutoring materials and customized tutoring programs
6.Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in handling students' needs.
7.Recommend the study books or teaching materials to class
8.Familiarity with using zoom or Google classroom
9.Proven ability to work well independently
$ x8 }& ?% h5 i2 g, X10.Evaluate each student’s academic level and performance and provide a suitable class level.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- m3 U5 z- S0 x( I- m7 n( Z1.Teaching certification of OCT is an asset
2.1-2 years of teaching experience.
3.A demonstrated ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom
7 G5 Z4 q# H! a2 N0 m3 u0 D4.Tutors: Not Required, references and transcript as an asset
7 n: N$ f" W: ^% L' T- u1 q5.Must be available 10-20 hours per week

Rate: $25/hr or Negotiable Based on Experience
