ONLINE Art or Math or English Teacher for Tutoring Grade1 to Grade 6 Students

Queensview Education is a leading private tutoring company, we are helping students from Grade 1 to Grade 6 in a variety of subjects including Art, Math, English and French by offering a fully personalized approach. Founded in 2016, the company has been able to establish a solid reputation for its high standard of private education.
( P2 z2 R% ]& \7 tCurrently, we are looking for highly qualified Art, Math, or English tutors who are creative and able to produce enjoyable and positive learning experiences

Responsibilities:4 |" n. Z" F" B
1.Grades 1 to 6 tutors are responsible for a group of 8 to 10 children virtually.
" k/ X0 ^& i4 f5 U% ^ W& Q2.Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring/mentoring to be provided
; F0 r; Q/ l( I$ c! `& u7 |9 ?$ u3.Accurately provide reporting regarding student progress as required: O# P) f4 c0 N3 i
4.Familiar and Follow the updated Ontario Ministry of Education criteria.
6 k9 P6 h+ w/ R5 K5.Develop and prepare teaching/tutoring materials and customized tutoring programs& {8 r, y3 D1 ], O
6.Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in handling students' needs.) V8 b q$ {, k
7.Recommend the study books or teaching materials to class
3 M" R. f# T& ^* P6 e9 C# O5 T8.Familiarity with using zoom or Google classroom1 s X& e. `. \7 ~/ A* v! X
9.Proven ability to work well independently
8 K% j9 h) e( N( G10.Evaluate each student’s academic level and performance and provide a suitable class level.

Education/Experience Requirements:! d! q2 N5 J0 p k8 ]
1.Teaching certification of OCT is an asset
4 y4 S2 ~. F! `2.1-2 years of teaching experience.
, t, i2 P, L& ]3 l7 _. p- u3.A demonstrated ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom
) Y9 u9 p! [" J6 m6 M) _4.Tutors: Not Required, references and transcript as an asset
( f3 [6 f u5 T G' v }5.Must be available 10-20 hours per week
